Anuj Agrawal grew up asking way too many "but why is it called that?" questions, and never really grew out of it. He wrote this book after watching a kid roll their eyes at the word "the cloud" and realizing nobody had ever actually explained it to them — not really, not in a way that was fun instead of homework-flavored.

The short version of how he got here: small-town beginnings in Afzalgarh, 12th grade in Bareilly, an engineering degree from Gorakhpur, and a Master's from IIT Bombay — proof that you can start in a town most maps forget to label and still end up somewhere with a very long name on the gate.

These days he is an engineer by profession, a badminton player by self-declared (if not always demonstrated) skill, and someone who is genuinely fascinated by IT and A.I. He also loves teaching, which, if you think about it, is mostly what this whole book has been.
