“Genesis” of life is the biggest unsolved mystery of human life, yet we are not keen to find an answer until we are stuck between the choice of life and death.

This collection of poems is about the journey of one such life where Rohan finally decides to choose a path that feels like the only way to  solve this mystery of life and death, by leaving everything or everyone behind. On a warm night at the banks of river Ganga in Rishikesh, the mere presence of a stranger stops him and gives him time to rethink his decision which could have affected not only his life but of everyone else around him.

That split moment to think makes him realize what his mother's and sister's life would be without him.
At the same time almost 200 Km away, his mother and sister lies awake wondering and worrying  where he is.

A friend going through his documents, searching for any clues to find him, instead finds these pages full of love, loss and grief. His family and friends were lucky enough to get another chance when came a call from an unknown number and the voice on the other side brought back their lost soul, but not everyone in life is lucky enough.

This book is a reminder for all of us to stay connected and open to people we care about. Always lend an ear when you could, because you never know when that split second could just save a life. This is for all of those who once thought that this life is over and here we are living this journey called "Life".
