An Indian Gothic Horror...

Marriage, especially arranged marriage was not on Aanya Singh's list that year. But when a literal prince asked her hand in marriage, it was too tempting an offer for her parents to refuse. Aanya liked Manav too. A handsome and intelligent, gentleman who made her feel special. She thought she could get her happily ever after. That was until she arrived at Fort Lake.

A majestic old-world fort, standing aloof in the middle of a small lake, Fort Lake is foreboding. It is drafty and dark. Not a place where newlyweds want to spend their time. But Aanya was enthusiastic to spend time with her new husband in a place, the likes of which she only heard in stories.

But as hours melt into days, Aanya finds herself more and more isolated yet always followed. There was something in the house that evaded her perception but was always there. But when she finds the diary of a woman who lived here generations ago, everything falls into place. By then, it is too late. She already had a bullseye on her back.
