**APURUV** is a young Indian author with a deep interest in literature, history, human psychology, and the questions that shape our understanding of people and society. His writing explores memory, loss, resilience, morality, and the quiet complexities of human emotion.

*Ashes in Her Footsteps* is his debut novel, written at the age of seventeen. Set against the shadows of the Second World War, the novel reflects his fascination with history not merely as a record of events, but as a collection of individual lives, choices, fears, and memories.

Beyond fiction, APURUV’s interests extend across science, philosophy, calligraphy, music, magic & mentalism and the study of human behaviour. He believes that literature can give a voice to experiences separated from us by time and allow readers to encounter history through deeply human stories.
