Description

Three strangers. One delayed train. A night that changes everything.

Platform 7, New Delhi.

The Rajdhani Express is running late.

With forty unexpected minutes to wait, three young strangers find themselves in an unlikely conversation about ambition, luck, success, and the quiet feeling that life isn't unfolding the way they imagined.

Then they board the train.

The man seated across from them has been listening all along.

As India slips past the windows through the night, ordinary conversations become an exploration of identity, grief, psychology, philosophy, and the invisible stories that shape every human life.

By the time the journey ends, the destination remains the same.

The passengers do not.

The Train Between Two Worlds is a literary novel about perspective, reality, and the life we often overlook while chasing the one we think we should have.

Perfect for readers who enjoy thoughtful fiction, meaningful conversations, and stories that continue long after the final page.

About the Author

Most people know Ashutosh Soni through his profession.
He works in the Environment, Health and Safety field, where his
responsibility is to notice what others might overlook, small details that, left
unnoticed, could one day affect people, structures, or the environment.
What began as a professional habit quietly became a way of seeing the
world.
He started noticing conversations that lasted longer in memory than they
did in real life. The stories people tell themselves. The ambitions they inherit.
The fears they never name. The strange ways in which we all search for
certainty while living in a world that offers very little of it.
Some might call it overthinking.
He has come to think of it as paying attention.
Many of the thoughts in this book were never spoken aloud. They lived
for years as questions, observations, unfinished conversations, and quiet
moments that refused to leave. Writing became the place where they finally
found a voice.
The Train Between Two Worlds is his first book.
It is not an attempt to provide answers.
It is an invitation to become curious about the questions we carry, the stories
we inherit, and the lives we build almost without noticing.
The conversations in this book never happened.
The observations did.
