Description

The fallen autumn leaf laid on the grass…

Quivering yet unafraid,
Completely devoid of any shame
It let the earth embrace its pain
‘cause in healing there is no shame.
When I turned the leaf over
I found my face smiling back at me
And just like that on that autumn day
I found a piece of my broken me.

‘Unsaid’ is a collection of heartfelt poetry and prose attempting to make sense of these broken pieces. It invites you to explore the subtleties of love, companionship, and self-discovery. In today's world of never-ending chaos, the book presents a refreshing opportunity for us to pause and reflect. It is written in a way that allows us to pick up any random page on a given day, reflect upon a thought, make it our own, and then move on to the next one.

Just by listening to our hearts, we can finally let the unsaid be said.

About the Author

Asmita Rajiv is an international award-winning artist, poetess, author, and proud mother of two sons with a lifelong vision to inspire her readers on a soul level through the power of poetic storytelling. Deeply introspective and inspirational, her relatable writing style showcases the human experience in all of its vibrant hues.

Asmita embarked upon her creative journey at just eight years of age. Unlike her formal qualifications in Physics and MBA, which are backed by formal degrees, her existence as an artist is purely backed by her passion. A passion so strong, that made her quit her corporate career and stopped her from playing hide and seek with her true calling. What started as writing poems for school events turned into releasing her debut book of poetry and prose, "Unsaid."

When she isn't painting or writing, you can find this passionate artist spending time with her family, cherishing her "me-time", traveling, and engaging in her newly found passion for driving on the German Autobahns.
