“The quest for the story beyond the story” is how the writer defines his efforts at creative writing. The quirky and the preposterous weave casually into the familiar and begin to look common-place in his screenplays, the esoteric mingles with the mundane, invisible barriers are breached, teasing the reader into joining the unusual creative process. The content remains profoundly Indian while the form draws some of its inspiration from western, more particularly European, films to which he was exposed from an early age.
