This edition is the English translation of the original Hindi work titled, वैतरणी।

The river crossed after death is named Vaitarani, but in life too a person passes through many such rivers that have no name. Or perhaps—their name too is Vaitarani.

'Vaitarani' is one such journey in the lives of Raghav and Shalini. Raghav is a sensitive young man whose dreams, circumstances, and questions about life lead him onto a difficult path.
