Description

The Saga of Storm Brothers, Book 2 of 8

Vikrant Solankhi died in October 1985, before he could sign the Charter meant to protect everything he had built from nothing. He left behind a company, a fortune, and four sons who were never trained to want any of it.

Kabir, Dev, Rishi, and Sameer did not ask for a throne. But a throne does not care who asked for it. It simply waits to be filled, and it does not wait patiently.

The Throne Nobody Asked For follows the four Solankhi brothers as they honour their father's unsigned wishes anyway, because that is who they are. It follows them to London, where distance strips away the roles they played at home and forces them to face who they are becoming, separately and together. It follows them back to Bombay, changed, carrying decisions they could not have made if they had never left.

This is a story about inheritance that has nothing to do with money. About what it means to carry a family's weight when no one handed you the instructions. About four brothers discovering that coming home is sometimes the harder journey.

Book Two of an eight-book, 120-year family saga that began with Vikrant Solankhi's arrival in Bombay in 1927 with two hundred and twelve rupees and a single principle: find what is needed before it is needed. This is the story of what that decision cost them, and what it gave back.

About the Author

Ayyappa Pitaka is a self-published author writing under the Storm Brothers imprint, working across political nonfiction, leadership and psychology, epic fantasy, contemporary romance, family drama, and exam-preparation guides for students. Each book is independently researched, outlined, and written, drawing on years of real-world observation, conversation, and, in the case of the CRACK JEE series, direct experience supporting a daughter's own exam preparation.
His work includes The Saga of Storm Brothers, an eight-book, 120-year Indian family saga following the Solankhi family from a single arrival in Bombay in 1927 to the present day. The Throne Nobody Asked For is Book Two in the series, continuing the story of the Solankhi brothers as they take up a responsibility they never asked for.
He continues to write and publish from Andhra Pradesh, where he lives with his family.
