About the Author

Bhavya Jha is a writer, reader, overthinker, and a woman who has spent far too much time wondering why we do the things we do simply because we were told they were normal.

She writes about womanhood with curiosity, humour, contradictions, and the occasional “wait, why is this considered normal?”

Good Girl Syndrome grew out of conversations, observations, uncomfortable questions, and the realisation that some of the rules we grow up with deserve a second look.

She doesn’t claim to have all the answers.

She is simply interested in asking better questions—and saying out loud the things many of us have thought quietly.
