Tulsidal
There is a small stem and two leaves in the Tulsi (Holy Basil) plant. One leaf represents the enlightening principle:
"You Yourself Create Your Reality."
The second leaf represents the meditation technique called Ānāpānasati–Vipassana.
The first leaf is the source of the "tree of knowledge," while the second leaf is the beginning of the "tree of meditation."
The first develops our Tree of Knowledge to its fullest and provides us with spiritual wisdom that is as vast as the ocean.
The second awakens our Divine Eye (Third Eye) and leads us into a state of pure awareness. The combination of these two is called the "Tulsi Leaf Secret."
The first tells us that every one of us possesses the complete power to manifest whatever we desire, at any time and in any place. This is the supreme truth and the complete essence of the highest wisdom.
The second is Ānāpānasati–Vipassana. "Ānāpānasati" means observing the breath. It naturally brings the mind to the tip of the nose, where it effortlessly becomes steady. Gradually, the Third Eye begins to open. Divine vision is attained. Slowly, the subtle body separates, making it possible to travel to other realms (through the subtle body).
Through all of this, one becomes a direct witness to the Supreme Truth. Ānāpānasati is the only essential spiritual practice. Nothing else is necessary; everything else is secondary.
The founder of the Arya Samaj, Swami Dayananda Saraswati, said:
"Idol worship is complete foolishness."
This is absolutely true. Devotion only gives temporary mental comfort. If one worships solely for mental peace, that is understandable. But worship, rituals, and external devotional practices are not the path to liberation.
In this extraordinary book written by Patriji, numerous verses and stories from the Vedas, Upanishads, and Shaastras have been interpreted so that everyone can understand the hidden truths behind them.
(Those through whom the Supreme Truth can be directly realized, seen, and experienced are like the Tulsi leaf.)
