Japji Sahib is the first composition in Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh holy book. It is considered the living Guru by the Sikhs. Japji Sahib is in the form of guidance on practical spirituality. It is free of dogma, rituals or superstition. Emphasis is on leading life according to Divine commands or laws of nature under guidance of the guru who has experienced presence of God. God has no physical attributes and is free from influences of the world. God is present within every creature and outside in nature in the form of laws of nature.
