Bushra was born in India but her childhood was spent in the gulf. She studied journalism from Mumbai and has appeared on national television (NDTV) and has published with a national newspaper (Indian Express). She self-published her first novel at the age of fourteen. She aspires to author books in every category and genre of reading. So far, she has published two fiction novels and one children's illustration book. Her immense passion for food and her skills in cookery developed at the tender age of seven. Bushra decided to bring together her inner writer and foodie. She gathered her knowledge in cooking continental cuisines with an Indian touch appropriate for the taste-buds of the South Asian culture to create this recipe book.
