Description

Alice in Wonderland is one of the most beloved children's books of all times. It describes a little girl's adventures in a topsy-turvy land underground and her encounters with such improbable characters as the White Rabbit, March Hare and Mad Hatter, the sleepy Dormouse, grinning Cheshire Cat, Mock Turtle, and the dreadful Queen of Hearts.

This colouring book captures the original illustrations of some of those characters for you the reader to colour and enjoy bringing your own personal outlook to these bizarre characters.

About the Author

Chandralal Colombage was born in Sri Lanka and had his academic education there. Having qualified in 1973 as an Accountant he got his first job as the Assistant Chief Accountant at Hotel Ceylon Inter-Continental. In 1977, he decided to travel to Nigeria to take up an appointment with the Oyo State Water Corporation. After 2 years, he moved to Liberia to work in iron ore mining companies, also in the finance field. In 1984 he emigrated to Australia. A naturalised Australian, he joined the City of Sydney in 1993 as their Chief Financial Officer. He was part of the team that was responsible for preparing the city for the staging of the 2000 Olympics. In 2003, Chandralal was appointed to undertake work with the South African government on a World Bank sponsored assignment. The work entailed assisting municipalities in improving their financial management practices. After 11 years of living and working in South Africa, he concluded his involvement with the program.

All through the years, Chandralal has been writing. But the outputs remained private. Now he has decided to pursue his penmanship more seriously and has already published 3 short stories (The Friend, Calvin and Grandpa) which are available on Amazon.

Chandralal has 3 sons (a lawyer turned priest, a solar engineer turned marketer and a journalist desiring to be a politician).
