If one browses through the book ' We Are One Cosmic Being' the text is thorough and intense and spiritually invigorating. It
It is not a destination but a perpetual state of peace and tranquility .
The author takes readers on a spiritual journey wading through
the material labyrinths and sets the tone for learning about Indian philosophy and ancient wisdom.
This is an excellent book for those looking for meaning of life and understand it's reality. This could open up a new world that could
remove the delusions and enlighten the reader culminating into a state of happiness.
What makes this book especially valuable is that the book invites deeper reflection. Researchers probing questions like 'how does consciousness relate to the physical substrate?' will find in its
pages the answers to some of the hidden meanings of life.
As a tool in any researcher’s library exploring consciousness, this book does more than inform—it transforms the way you think.
If you want a comprehensive introduction to Hindu philosophy (which is actually a misnomer; the philosophy of Sanatana Dharma is the correct terminology), then this is THE book for you. It gives the philosophical knowledge in simple terms, citing the different textual sources, as well as the historical social context, which gives a richer understanding.
I personally struggled to clearly comprehend the teachings before reading this book because there are so many texts out there (Vedas, Upanishads, etc.) making it difficult to know where to start and how to proceed, however I have gained so much clarity after reading this one book that now when I go to approach the texts everything fits together and is consistent! Very clarifying.
Also really appreciate how the author goes out of her way to show the commonalities with the various theistic religions and atheistic wisdom.
Excellent book on Vedanta- a profound subject in an easy to understand language
I have carefully read 'We Are One Cosmic Being' and am greatly impressed with the way the author Daksha Shukla has dealt with the subject and presented it with clarity in an easily understandable language. Dealing with a profound subject like Vedanta, which is indeed 'the timeless Science of Life and the Art of living Harmoniously' is not an easy job. I congratulate her on the excellent production.
