"Love War and Ramifications": I enjoyed reading this novel. It is having layers of emotions which deal with love, family drama, mystery, war and its ramifications; all put together, it gives nice flow in the story and it is gripping as well. A definite page turner. This is the second novel from the author Deepa Balasubramanian, I love her the way she handles the human emotions in her novels. Her first novel 'Valiyachalai Times' was a family drama (Iyengar family), set in Madras. It was a nice read as well. Her third book, the south Indian story collection -‘The Plantain Leaf’, is coming soon. I wish Deepa Balasubramanian, all the very best for her future writings. :)

Love War and Ramifications made for a refreshing and an interesting read. Set in Goa, the novel was woven with bouts of mystery in a rather dreamy love story. It's nice how we can so easily connect with Joanna, the lead. Definitely worth a read.
