I started appreciating stock markets when I came across a new concept of the field called behavioral finance which gave a new implication that stock markets are majorly affected by emotions of investors rather than anything else. That’s the reason there is no fool proof portfolio management theory which can fully explain the movements of stock markets. So, I got deeply interested in understanding the concept of behavioral finance. I started deeply researching and analyzing all the factors which influence investor behavior.
So, my deep research, long investment experience and even consulting the people along; gave me the immense belief in the behavioral theories of investment. The motivation behind writing this book was to make the concept familiar with everyone whosoever wants to learn value investing. This way minimizing the impact of speculative investments in the stock markets which create various market anomalies resulting in loss of investor confidence which further affects the efficiency of economy. I hope this book contributes towards enhancing the investor knowledge and adopting right fundamental and behavioral approach towards investing!
