About the Author

Dr Anuradha Katyal Sachdev was born in 1972, in Rohtak, in northern India.
She spent most of her formative years in Rohtak, with her three sisters and their mother. Her father, a textile engineer by profession, had to live in various cities during those years because of the nature of his work. Her mother, a bank employee, chose to stay at one place and give stability to them.

After marriage, Dr Katyal wanted to model the same stability for her kids, albeit in a different manner. It was her conscious decision to not let her children stay away from their father. Hence, as and when life showed them various twists and turns, they moved together as a family of four.

She entered the world of writing at the age of 50 as a first-time and self-published author.
"The Drop is Ocean now" is her debut novella.
