Description

Metabolism represents one of the most remarkable and fundamental phenomena in biological systems, encompassing an intricate web of biochemical reactions that form the very foundation of life itself. This complex network of chemical transformations not only sustains life but also enables organisms to grow, respond to their environment, maintain homeostasis, and reproduce. Understanding metabolism is crucial for comprehending how living systems convert nutrients into energy, biomolecules, and cellular structures while simultaneously breaking down complex molecules to obtain the resources needed for these processes.
