Dr. Deepa Revi is an Associate Professor in Pathology at the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Trust Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, and a recognized doctoral research guide. A university first rank holder and recipient of the prestigious Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) Best Teacher Award (2023) in Allied Health Sciences, she brings extensive research and student-mentoring experience to her writing.

Dr. Deepa’s doctoral research conducted under the mentorship of renowned scientist Dr. T.V. Anilkumar at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Science and Technology, Trivandrum, pioneered Cholederm, India's first indigenously developed Class-D extracellular matrix wound healing graft and the world's first cholecyst-derived wound dressing. A prolific inventor and researcher, holding one Australian and two Indian patents, multiple scientific publications in renowned peer reviewed international journals and fellowships from CSIR (JRF) and ICMR (travel grant), her work has earned international acclaim, including the Best Poster Award at the 9th World Biomaterial Congress in Chengdu, China, 2012 and the Best poster award at the Second International Animal and Diary Science Conference by Omics International in Banglore, India, 2014. Beyond her scientific endeavors, she is the author of the mythological book Virupaksha; the oblique eyed and a trained classical singer.

Dr. Nithya Narayanan is a Professor in Biochemistry at the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, Malabar Medical College Institute of Allied and Health Sciences, Kozhikode, and serves as an external expert member of doctoral committees and a recognized PhD guide.

A high-achieving academic, Dr. Narayanan secured First Rank in her Master's in Medical Laboratory Technology from the University of Calicut and completed her PhD at its Recombinant DNA Laboratory. Her research excellence is marked by elite national fellowships—including ICMR-JRF, UGC-JRF, and DST-INSPIRE JRF—as well as the Best Poster Award at the 26th Kerala Science Congress. She has contributed 13 molecular sequences to NCBI's GenBank, published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, and previously served on the Board of Studies (MLT) at Kannur University. Blending scientific rigor with artistic passion, she is also a trained classical dancer.
