About the Book: Thithis are a measurement of time during a day which lasts from 21 hrs to 26 hrs as per the Hindu Almanac. Hindus generally consult an almanac when they need to do an important task to find the suitability of the day and period for that task to be successful. One of the components that determine it is the “Thithi”. It is a particular phase of the Moon on a specific day.
