This is a social task for mankind as a citizen, as the government, the industry, the consumer, and the constitution all have to work together and share the benefits and effects due to the product development. It is the responsibility of all at different levels to make a sustainable environment.

The engineer plays a major role in inventing the right technology and reducing the pollution to an agreeable level. Where there is a production, there will be some waste generation.
