Preface
The concept of philosophy of science was first developed by Michael Heller and he viewed science education is concerned with the assumptions, methods, and implications of science. Sometimes it is difficult to say what is that metaphysics, ontology and epistemology in science and education, and how and where we can apply these ideas. Many philosophers of science argued that the generation, invention and discovery of science was possible due to the human thinking and perseverance. Scientists contribute their thought and ideology to the field of philosophy and that is why many prominent scientists have felt that without philosophy, science has no existence. Philosophy of science has met with mixed response from the science as well as philosophy. Let us see the big picture of philosophy of science and education for the better understanding.
