Dr. Kuldeep Agarwal is a professor, author, and manufacturing practitioner with more than two decades of experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, and applied research. He holds a B.Tech from IIT Kharagpur, PhD in Engineering from The Ohio State University and graduate degrees in Industrial Engineering and Applied Statistics.

His work focuses on helping organizations make manufacturing operations work better by connecting engineering principles with practical methods in Lean, Six Sigma, quality, automation, data analysis, additive manufacturing, and advanced manufacturing technologies. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Black Belt, and Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).

He is the author of Polymer, Metal, and Ceramic Composites Manufacturing, published by Elsevier. His teaching, research, and industry work span manufacturing processes, operational improvement, composites, robotic automation, and emerging applications of artificial intelligence in manufacturing.

Kuldeep’s broader goal is to translate complex manufacturing concepts into practical systems, tools, and approaches that engineers, managers, students, and small and midsize manufacturers can actually use.
