A bright future for every human being can only be ascertained by education. Every society must be guided by the policy to ensure a fair and equitable chance for receiving education to reach their potential in order to expand educational opportunities for all students. Technology in various ways is helping in achieving this goal which is also reflected in the National Education Policy (NEP). NEP 2020 attempts to create an inclusive knowledge society that values equity and vibrancy with teachers that are ale to adapt with the hanging time and needs and make them technologically strong. This book is a humble effort to collate the scholarly inputs of educators and practitioners on policies and practices in educational technologies, with special reference to India.
In Chapter 1, Dr. Parvesh Lata & Nazama acquaint the readers to the New advanced degree programs which have emerged in recent years as a result of growing interest in educational technology and how they are intended to enable teachers to adopt an innovator's mentality and become transformative technology leaders in their classrooms, school, or district. In Chapter 2, Karishma Narangand & Dr. Parvesh Lata throws light on the the applications of Educational Technology in formal learning and non-formal learning which could improves the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of lifelong learning of adults, their continuous personal and professional growth. In Chapter 3, Dr. Rekha Kaushal & Dr. Sunita Sehrawat provide an overview of the three learning theories that are discussed are constructivism, cognitivism, and behaviourism. Dr. Pooja Chopra, in Chapter 4, examine how Instructional design is an important component of all teaching processes.

In Chapter 10, Somesh Kumar & Sonali Singhal discusses educational technology policies formulated by the Central and State governments of India. While in Chapter 11, Paskalia N Otto gives insights on e-inclusion, e-learning quality, the use of assistive technology in e-learning, and the integration of information systems into teaching and learning. In Chapter 12, Dr. Ruchi Bajpai emphasizes the Ethical Issues for E-Learner and E-Teacher. Fr. Baiju Thomas, explain in Chapter 13, ICT-based evaluation techniques for teacher education programs (TEP) to change Pre-service teachers' roles in 21st-century educational systems. In Chapter 14, Dr. Sunil Kumar emphasizes library professionals' difficulties when creating a digital library. In this report, the investigator highlighted a few of the library professional's points of view who had difficulties creating a digital library.. Finally, in Chapter 15, Dr. Ritu Rani, Meenaxi & Riya emphasizes on how Educational games have been criticised for interfering with students' ability to study, but they have also been shown to boost the enthusiasm and engagement of learners, improve their visual skills, foster better peer cooperation, and prepare them to apply gaming ideals in their real world.
