Dr. Ch. Prasanthi currently working as Associate professor, Department of Microbiolo - gy in St. Ann's College for Women(A), Malkapuram, Visakhapatnam. She has complet- ed in her Master from Microbiology department at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Further, she selected for RGNF Fellowship in the year 2014 (F1-17.1/2014-15/RGNF-2014-15-SC-AND-59868) and completed her research work under Ph.D. programme from Marine Living Resources entitled with "Studies on fish- ery, characterization and molecular interactions of haemolymph proteins from two mud crab species Scylla serrata (forskal, 1775) and Scylla olivacea (Herbst, 1796) from Vi- sakhapatnam coast, Andhra Pradesh, India. She has 11 + years of teaching experience and published about 9 research papers (2 Scopus, 4 web of science and 3 peer reviewed journals). She has attended about 13 National and international seminars, webinars, workshops and conferences. At present she guiding and designing mini research proj- ects for graduate students. She got two published patents for "Wealthy wheat Drop: A system for sustainable wheat harvesting" (202441032325) and distribution" and "Method and system for micro-scale dehydration of vegetables" (202441031962). She also acted as Chief editorial member for a book "The handbook of research methodology for social sciences volume-III. She was awarded with Best teacher award from Learning Technologies in the 2023
