Dr. Richa Shrivastava holds a PhD from the Department of Humanities & Social Sciences, IIT Roorkee, with a research focus on American literature, and is a postgraduate in English Literature with a TEFL certification from Ireland. She is a guest faculty member at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism & Communication (MCU), Bhopal, and has taught English literature, linguistics, communication skills, and professional English across institutions including Galgotias University, SIRT Bhopal, and Barkatullah University. Her work centres on application-based English for Hindi-medium learners — and every pronunciation correction, grammar pattern, and common mistake in this book is drawn directly from her classroom experience.
Nishant Shrivastava holds a B.Tech from JIIT Noida and an MBA from IIT Roorkee, where he led the Placement Cell and was closely involved in campus recruitment. He is the founder of Niya Consulting, a Paris-based management and digital-transformation consultancy, and has led consulting programmes across Europe and India. Having been on both sides of the hiring table, he shaped the book's structure and contributed its practical placement strategy — from recruiter-profile analysis to interview frameworks.
