Dr. S. Kishore is an accomplished academician, researcher, and entrepreneurship educator with 13+ years of experience in teaching and research. He is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Management, School of Commerce and Management, Mohan Babu University.
He holds a Ph.D. in Commerce (Entrepreneurship) from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, with his doctoral research focusing on Entrepreneurship and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh. He also holds an MBA in Finance & Systems and an M.Com. in Accounting & Finance and Marketing.
Dr. Kishore’s areas of teaching expertise include Financial Management, Accounting for Managers, Financial Institutions and Markets, Entrepreneurship Development, Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, Managerial Economics, Financial Analysis, International Financial Management, Business Research Methods, and Financial Derivatives. His research interests encompass Accounting and Finance, Banking, Entrepreneurship, E-Commerce, Consumerism, and Economic Development.
Throughout his academic career, he has undertaken several administrative and leadership responsibilities, including IQAC Coordinator, NAAC Coordinator, Business Incubator Coordinator, Entrepreneurship Development Cell Coordinator, Technology Business Incubator Coordinator, NIRF Nodal Officer, and Board of Studies and Academic Council Member.
He has made significant contributions to research, with 38 research papers published in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals, including 35 international and 3 national journal publications. He has also contributed four chapters in edited books and authored two books. His academic profile includes 78 postgraduate students supervised, seven invited lectures, and participation in numerous national and international seminars, conferences, and workshops.
Dr. Kishore has also been actively involved in research projects, entrepreneurship development initiatives, consultancy, innovation, and incubation activities. Notably, he was associated with a NIDHI Technology Business Incubator project sanctioned with a grant of ₹7.30 crore by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. He has also coordinated entrepreneurship awareness initiatives supported under the DST-NIMAT programme.
His professional accomplishments include two registered design/patent-related achievements, along with recognition through the Faculty Award (2023) and National Fellowship Award (2022). He is a life/fellow member of several academic and professional associations, including the Indian Commerce Association, Indian Academic Researchers Association, International Association of Academic plus Corporate, and All India Management Association.
With his strong blend of academic experience, entrepreneurship expertise, research contributions, institutional leadership, and industry-oriented initiatives, Dr. S. Kishore continues to contribute meaningfully to management education, entrepreneurship development, and research.
