Sanober Rasool is an accomplished academician and researcher in the field of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Extension Education. She completed her B.V.Sc. & A.H. from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) in 2016. She subsequently earned both her M.V.Sc. and Ph.D. in Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Extension Education from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K). During her postgraduate studies, Dr. Rasool conducted significant research on livestock production systems and animal health. Her master's research focused on “Effect of Natural Disasters on Livestock Production System: A Case Study of Floods of 2014 in Kashmir,” while her doctoral research was entitled “Dynamics of Disease Prevalence and Animal Health Care Services with Special Reference to Cattle in Kashmir.” Currently, Dr. Rasool serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Extension Education at Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Amritsar, Punjab. She qualified the prestigious ASRB-NET examination in 2021 in her discipline, reflecting her strong academic credentials.
Burhan Nabi is a distinguished veterinary clinician, researcher, and academician specializing in Veterinary Medicine. He earned his B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) and subsequently completed his M.V.Sc. and Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J). With a strong commitment to advancing animal health and welfare, Dr. Nabi has made notable contributions to veterinary research. His postgraduate research focused on the clinico-therapeutic amelioration of thermal stress in dairy cattle, while his doctoral work centered on the molecular characterization of caprine paratuberculosis, providing valuable insights into livestock health, disease diagnostics, and management strategies. Currently, Dr. Nabi serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Medicine at Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Amritsar, Punjab. Renowned for his blend of clinical expertise and scholarly excellence, he is actively involved in teaching, research, and extension activities.
