fifteen B.El.Ed. student -teachers of School of Education, K.R Mangalam University, Gurugram,
Haryana, completed under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Tania Gupta, Dean, School of Education, K.R
Mangalam University, Gurugram, Haryana under Course SEED492A: Research Project II (Educational
Issue). The aspiring researchers explore critical aspects of education through the lens of their unique
projects. The research projects were assigned to meet the requirements of the course curriculum of
B.El.Ed. as well as motivate the student-teachers to undertake research publications on social
development issues pertinent to education. Thus, emerged this collaborative research initiative under
MoU between K.R Mangalam University and Social Development and Research Foundation (SDRF),
India.
The richness and diversity of topics covered in these chapters offer a comprehensive view of the
educational spectrum, ranging from the impact of technology on mathematics education to the
exploration of inclusive practices and the integration of experiential learning.
The contributors embark on a journey through various facets of education, with each chapter presenting
a distinct exploration of key themes. From examining the effectiveness of digital learning platforms and
the role of gamification in teaching to understanding the dynamics of internship experiences and the
influence of environmental studies, the chapters collectively contribute to the ongoing discourse on
educational practices, policies, and philosophies.
The inclusion of diverse projects on topics such as menstrual hygiene management, foundational
literacy and numeracy skills, and the educational philosophy of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam reflects the

About the Author

Dr. Tania Gupta is Professor & Dean, School of Education and Former Dean, Student Welfare K. R Mangalam University, Haryana, India. She earned her doctorate in Education (Ph.D.) and Master in Education (M.Ed.) from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Her other professional qualifications include UGC NET Education, M.A. (Economics) and Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Planning and Management (PGDEPM). During her variegated professional experience of 22 years from school to university level, she has ceaselessly endured demonstrating exemplary leadership in creating the best learning environment and fostering a vibrant organizational culture with robust ethos, professional ethics, teamwork, discipline and safety, creativity and innovation. She has been the founder Editor of various national and international journals of Education. There are several research papers, edited books, book chapters and patents published to her credit. She has been conferred with several prestigious awards. She believes in lifelong learning and advancing education through insightful discourse and effective communication in seminars, conferences and training programmes. Her academic and research interests include education policy, higher education, economics of education, teacher education, inclusive education, educational leadership and management. She is Vice-Chairperson of Council for Teacher Education Foundation (CTEF), Delhi NCR Chapter & Secretary General of Council for Teachers Professional Development (CTPD). She is a lifetime member of Eudoxia Research University, U.S.A , AIAER, GERA, CTPD and InSc.

Dr. Sanjay Kumar is working with Saraswati College of Professional Studies Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is a postgraduate in Education Management, Commerce and Marketing Management. He is also UGC-NET qualified in Education, Commerce and Management. He has a doctorate degree in Business and Management from JNU, Jaipur. He possesses more than 20 years of rich experience in academics, administration, research, accreditation and online education. He has contributed more than 10 research papers in UGC notified national and international journals. He has successfully conducted more than 30 online workshops on Digital skills for Teachers during 2020-21 and 2021-22. He has presented more than 15 papers in National Conferences on the topics-digital skills, virtual classrooms, digital citizenship and digital safety for teachers.He has developed an online 30 hours “Certified Digital Teacher Course” for all levels of teachers.He has completed marketing research and analysis course from IIT Roorkee under NPTEL in 2017.He was gold medalist with 93% marks.He has been awarded three times for his contribution in Education and Society. He has completed Social Media Marketing Specialisation Course from Meta and Coursera in May, 2023. He is a chief editor of two National Journals-Edulink and The CTE National Journal, Secretary General, CTEF DELHI-NCR Chapter, Program Director of Social Development and Research Foundation (SDRF) and President, Council for Teachers Professional Development (CTPD).
