Dr. Tarannum Shaikh is a graduate in Homoeopathy from Mumbai University and a Post-graduate in Nutrition from the University of Leeds, U.K. She's a doctor by profession and a writer at heart. Having previously written for magazines and experimented with content writing, she finally settled on writing poetry and prose, which, she believes, is by far the most emphatic form of expression.

She has been a co-author in many anthologies and has published a solo hindi poetry book by the name of 'Tarannum...naghma-e-zindagi ' in both ebook and paperback format.She has published the ebook version of 'The Ice cubes' with Kindle Direct Publishing which is a short read on love and life and had ranked amongst the top ten. She believes one should never give up on their dreams and continuously strive to turn them to reality.

"If I rest....I rust." Is her motto in life.
