Description

“Dr. Venkat Potana’s New Age Movement: Spiritual but Lost arrives at a moment when spiritual curiosity is at an all-time high, yet clarity about truth is increasingly rare. This book does not approach contemporary spirituality with hostility or dismissal. Instead, it carefully examines the inner logic of modern New Age thought, manifestation culture, and energy-based spirituality, revealing both their appeal and their limitations with remarkable balance and insight.

What makes this work stand out is its tone of thoughtful engagement. Dr. Potana writes with pastoral sensitivity while maintaining theological clarity, allowing the reader to understand not only what people are believing, but why those beliefs feel compelling in the first place. He treats spiritual searching with seriousness, yet gently exposes the need for a deeper foundation that goes beyond shifting cultural narratives. Readers will find this book both intellectually stimulating and personally challenging. It speaks into the confusion of our time with uncommon clarity, while opening space for reflection and re-evaluation.”

— Dr. Jonathan M. Caldwell
