This Book is about the literary life of the author, late Digavalli Venkata Sivarao(1898-1992), a well known lawyer , Historical Researcher and prolific writer. His long life of 94 years was dedicated to Historical research with specific reference to the British India . His published books numbered about 50 and more than 300 essays in several popular news papers and magazines . It started right from 1918 when he was just 20 years old and continued till he was past 90. His first book, Pothana-Vemanal Yugam was published in the year 1924. Dakshina Africa Cheritra was published in 1928. Series of his essays were published continuously in Andhra Patrika daily in Sunday issues for a whole decade. A few prominent writers of those days namely Chilukuri Veerabhadra rao, Gadicherla Hari Sarvottama rao, Mallampalli Somasekhara Sarma etc. had reviewed his works. Several prominent people who read his books have published their opinions and wrote letters. They include Veturi Prabhakara Sastry, Madapati Hanumantha Rao, Suravaram Pratapa Reddy, Sir C.R.R Reddy etc. In this updated version a few typing errors stand corrected and also some more information about his literary accomplishments were added
