Description

Dubai is one of the most popular tourist destinations. It has 61 five-star hotels, the second-highest globally, just after London (75 hotels). Dubai has the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa. Oil revenue helped Dubai to accelerate its growth. Dubai's economy relies on trade, tourism, aviation, real estate, and financial services. For any successful budget travel, sound planning is a must. We plan our visit at least six months before our visit starts. Then, we fix our budget and select the best places we want to visit. Dubai summer is scorching, even for Indians. The Winter season, November to March, is the best time for a Dubai visit, though there will be too much crowd and hotels will be costly.
RTA runs the Public Bus Transport system in Dubai and licenses all taxi services. Dubai Metro has two lines, Red and Green, and is very efficient. In addition, a monorail line connects Palm Jumeirah to the mainland. The Currency of the United Arab Emirates is the "United Arab Emirates dirham," also known as the Emirati dirham. The term dirham is officially abbreviated as "AED." The Indian equivalent of 1 AED is approximately INR 20. The best way to visit Dubai is to use Big Bus's Hop on Hop off service. They have three types of tours: one day, two days, and five days, and they are called classic, premium, and deluxe tickets. We booked deluxe tickets online from India and got a 25% discount. Many facilities are available in the deluxe ticket, like several free tours, walking tours, free admission to museums, etc. The free tours we selected are: Dubai Creek Arabian Dhow Cruise, Dubai night tour, Dubai walking tours (5), Museum Collection, Desert sunset adventure, Sharjah tour, Marina and island Boat cruise, Palm Island Drive, Flamingo Lagoon discovery and Meydan journey.
