This book is a rare book in bengali literature .In our daily busy life we are going to forget many cultural aspects of our life.This book make us nostalgic.Writer Mrs Dipty Chatterjee tried to draw through her writing all those important parts of the life .We now forget how to respect our elders , how to obey them ...or how to carry our inheritance without questioning. The gen "y" don't know what is the real aristrocacy ..They will understand after go through of this book .
Writer Mrs chatterjee in her age of near 80 doing all domestic chore wrote her book ...i think this is a very rare happening in literature world as far as i know
