The 1955 (Jamnagar) born Poet Divyang K. Chhaya is a practicing Attorney At Law. He completed B.A. (Psychology) in 1979 from Zakir Husain College, Delhi University; and LL.B in 1982 from Law Center II of Delhi University. Practiced litigation law from 1982 onwards at the Supreme Court Bar; he obtained LLM degree in 1989 from The Law School, University of Georgia, Athens, GA. USA.
Schooling was in different States in India on account of transferable job of his father Sri K H Chhaya, IA&AS Joint Director CAG, retired as Additional Secretary, Lok Sabha Secretariat.
