About the Author

Dr. Pratibha Mishra is an Assistant Professor in the Zoology Department at D.A.V-P.G. College, Kanpur, with 18 years of teaching experience. She earned her M.Sc. and Ph.D. from CSJMU Kanpur, completing her doctoral research in 2007 on the Ganga River, becoming the first in India to identify 105 organisms in this region. Dr. Mishra has published 30 national and international papers, holds 7 patents, and authored 7 books with ISBNs. She has received multiple awards, including the Best Writer Award (2021) and Eco Warrior Award (2024). She leads environmental campaigns focused on Ganga conservation and plastic waste reduction, actively promoting awareness and sustainability.

Dr. Shikha Tripathi is an Assistant Professor in Zoology at Dayanand Anglo Vedic Post Graduate Degree College, Kanpur, affiliated with C.S.J.M. University. She earned her Ph.D. in Zoology from C.S.J.M. University in 2007 and completed her M.Sc. from Acharya Narendra Dev Mahila Mahavidyalaya in 1999. With 18 years of teaching experience, she has also worked as a Senior Research Fellow at ICAR-Central Institute of Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow. Dr. Tripathi has published 15 research papers, holds 2 patents, authored 4 textbooks, and received the Teacher Excellence Award in 2025. She is co-founder of a women empowerment welfare society and a lifetime member of ITS..

Prof. (Dr.) Sumit Kumar Gupta is a seasoned academician and researcher with over 24 years of experience. He holds dual Ph.D. degrees in Materials Science and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, along with M.Tech, M.Sc. (Physics), M.Phil., and B.Ed. qualifications. A NAAC Assessor and IIT-JEE Physics Subject Expert, he has supervised 16 Ph.D. scholars and guides three currently.
