Description

“In Biblical Theology of Missions: The Church in Mission Today, Volume–7, Dr. Venkat Potana presents a compelling vision of the church’s calling in a rapidly changing world. Blending biblical theology, contemporary mission realities, and pastoral insight, this volume demonstrates that mission is not merely a program of the church but the very heartbeat of its existence. Addressing themes such as discipleship, justice, urban ministry, digital communication, global Christianity, and persecution, the book remains deeply rooted in the gospel while speaking with clarity and urgency to the challenges of the twenty-first century.

Scholarly yet accessible, this work serves theologians, pastors, missionaries, ministry leaders, and churches seeking faithful direction in today’s global context. Dr. Potana challenges readers to see the church not as a passive institution but as a living missionary community sent by God into the nations. Dedicated with heartfelt gratitude to his wife, Rita Roslin Potana, this volume reflects both theological depth and personal devotion, making it a significant contribution to contemporary missiological thought.”

—Dr. Jonathan M. Reynolds
