Description
The Aim of this book is to deal with microprocessors, their programming and interfacing etc. It includes assembly language programming of Intel 8085 and 8086 microprocessor.This book is very useful to B.C.A., B.Sc. Electronics students. The book is written for the first course on microprocessors, which is in the curriculum of B.C.A (Semester III)., B.Sc. Electronics (Semester-IV) affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University (Maharashtra).
Book is structured as follows:
Chapter 1 includes the subject of microprocessor and microcomputers. It describes microprocessor evolution, Microcomputer, 8085 architecture. Instruction format and timing diagram etc.
Chapter 2 discusses instruction and programming of 8085 microprocessor.
Chapter 3 deals with basic concept of interfacing and 8255 PPI.
Chapter 4 discusses architecture of 8086 microprocessor.
Chapter 5 describes instructions and programming of 8086 microprocessor.
Dr. Yogendra Babarao Gandole received M.Sc. Applied Electronics degree from Amravati University, Amravati in 1987, Advance Diploma in Computer Software, System Analysis and Application from Bombay technical Board, Bombay in 1992, M.Sc. Subject communication (Electronics) from Yashawantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik in 2000. Ph.D. In Electronics from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati in 2008 and Ph.D. in Subject communication (Electronics) from Yashawantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik in 2009.He is working as a head and associate professor in department of Electronics at Adarsha science, J.B.Arts and Birla Commerce, Mahavidyalaya, Dhamangaon Rly since 1988. he has been actively engaged in the research. The current interests of research are virtual Instrumentation and computer Assisted learning. The fields are ultrasonic instrumentation, Modeling and Simulation, Digital signal processing, Microprocessor and Microcontroller. Under his guidance four students have been registered for Ph.D. degree from Amravati University, Amravati. Till now 17 research papers are published in national and international journals. He received the following awards.
• Award of "Leading Engineers of the World 2008"- International Biographical Center, Cambridge, England. (16/05/2008).
• Inclusion in the "2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century 2009-2010" of International Biographical Center, Cambridge, England (28/11/2008).
• Inclusion in the 2008, 2009, & 2010 edition of Who's Who in the world.
• 4-Gold Medals in subject Mathematics at B.Sc. (1985) and Merit rank in B,Sc, and M,Sc,
• Teacher Fellowship for research work (2004)
• Consolation Prize in DAE Golden Jubilee Science Quiz for College / University Teachers, Organized by Govt. Of India Department of Atomic Energy, Mumbai.(2004).
• Editorial Board Member of i-manager’s Journal on Electronics.
