Book is structured as follows:
Chapter 1 includes the subject of microprocessor and microcomputers. It describes microprocessor evolution, Microcomputer, 8085 architecture. Instruction format and timing diagram etc.
Chapter 2 discusses instruction and programming of 8085 microprocessor.
Chapter 3 deals with basic concept of interfacing and 8255 PPI.
Chapter 4 discusses architecture of 8086 microprocessor.
Chapter 5 describes instructions and programming of 8086 microprocessor.

About the Author

Dr. Yogendra Babarao Gandole received M.Sc. Applied Electronics degree from Amravati University, Amravati in 1987, Advance Diploma in Computer Software, System Analysis and Application from Bombay technical Board, Bombay in 1992, M.Sc. Subject communication (Electronics) from Yashawantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik in 2000. Ph.D. In Electronics from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati in 2008 and Ph.D. in Subject communication (Electronics) from Yashawantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik in 2009.He is working as a head and associate professor in department of Electronics at Adarsha science, J.B.Arts and Birla Commerce, Mahavidyalaya, Dhamangaon Rly since 1988. he has been actively engaged in the research. The current interests of research are virtual Instrumentation and computer Assisted learning. The fields are ultrasonic instrumentation, Modeling and Simulation, Digital signal processing, Microprocessor and Microcontroller.
