Lorn in the forest is a quixotic novel about the young lad, Umar and his love Alyanna. The lad stifles his business odyssey and reprieves at a small village where he falls in love with a fish wife, Alyanna. Due to business reasons, Umar has to move from the village. He promises Alyanna that one day he will return and when he'll return, he will ask for her hand. Umar leaves Alyanna to do his opus. Both get dispelled and wait to constellate with each other. But when they do constellate, they are baffled how things have transmuted since they last saw each other. So many hurdles in their way of getting together. In all of these changes one thing that stays the same is the love they have for each other. They cohere to face everything stifling them from becoming one. Things we do for love.
