Mr Rat was sloppy and ugly while his cousin, Mrs Squirrel, was spotless and beautiful. Due to their visible differences, both were treated unequally.
Mr Rat, who was in fact a real gentleman, was seen as a beggar who should be avoided at all costs.
On the other hand, Mrs Squirrel, who was actually quite self-absorbed, was the one people came to for advice.
One fine day, Mr Rat decided that the time had come to radically change his life!
