About the Author

M. N. Vaishnavi is a native of the Telugu states, is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and is a second-year professional student.

She has a keen interest in exploring the scientific basis of Indian cultural practices and traditions, believing that many age-old customs are rooted in scientific principles. She is passionate about studying, understanding, and preserving this traditional knowledge through an evidence-based perspective. Through her writing, she aims to encourage readers to appreciate the relevance of these traditions in the modern world.
