About Mirella born with Spina Bifida in Edmonton, AB Mirella is a disability advocate, writer, blogger and wannabe chef. During her lifetime she has worn many hats. She has gained confidence and learned from her work with politicians and in the nonprofit industry. In 2019 Mirella was inspired to do a calendar celebrating women with physical disabilities when she learned that a group of ladies came together to do a calendar of women in music. The calendar will be ready for release in time for the 2021 calendar year. She is currently working on a calendar for the 2022 Calendar year that she hopes will be ready for release by the fall of 2021. Mirella believes that we should all Engage, Enlighten and Empower.
