The Write Your Love contest was meant to coincide with Valentine’s Day in 2011. It was to provide a platform to writers to express their creativity in a fun manner. Entries were to be written as love letters to fictional characters from films or books. The judge for the final round of the contest was Ms. Maitrayee Roychoudhury, Assistant Lecturer of English at the Lady Shri Ram College for Women, New Delhi. The entries were riveting and showcased the creativity of an array of writers, who wrote, expressing heart-felt love, to fictional characters that belonged to another world. In this collection we’ve included the two prize winning letters, the shortlisted entries and a few other interesting ones that caught our attention.
