About the Author

Sanjaya Pattanayak is a civil servant under Government of India. He is widely acclaimed as deep thinker and an expert on Vedantic philosophy. His articles have been published in various journals and magazines. He has served as the Director of Films Division, Satyajit Ray Film & TV Institute, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, and as CEO of Children Film Society of India. He is the Principal Director of National Academy of Defence Production. He has penned books on Rabindrasangeet and Principal Upanishads. He has delivered number of lectures on spirituality, relevance of ancient wisdom in contemporary society etc.
