Sanya Godara is a BAMS student, research enthusiast, explorer, keen observer, and habitual reader whose love for books gradually grew into a passion for writing.
Her interest in writing comes from a simple habit: observing people and trying to understand what lies behind their words, choices, relationships, and emotions. She is particularly drawn to the questions that arise from ordinary human experiences but rarely receive an honest examination.
Her background in Ayurveda and her interest in research have encouraged her to look at human beings from more than one perspective. Alongside medicine and academics, she finds herself fascinated by psychology, human relationships, social behaviour, personal growth, and the differences between biological age, emotional maturity, and the way a person actually experiences life.
Her personal worldview has been influenced by people and ideals she admires, including Ajit Doval, the Indian bureaucrat and former intelligence officer often described as a spymaster, and India’s National Security Advisor; Maharana Pratap, whom she regards as a symbol of courage, independence, and conviction; and Mahadev,Guru Jambeshwar in whom she places deep faith.
A reader before becoming a writer, she believes that books can change the questions we ask, even when they do not change the answers. Her writing therefore tends to explore familiar subjects through an observational and questioning lens rather than offering easy conclusions
