The tale about how a professional, family man with peaceful mind, scholar, an orthodox became a violent in the name of patriotism. The evil followed Varma the retired diplomate his last post was in Islamabad. Varma dreamed his family life was going to peace and harmony in his ancestral mansion house located at a beautiful hill country. Varma and his family belong to Vadama Brahmin caste which referred to a warrior generation. But, he did not fight the political enemy because he was a warrior clan, unfortunately the situation plunged him to be. In the unexpected incident in his life, he must balance the terrorist’s demand for the country’s capital secret with his family’s survival including the five-year-old granddaughter, Sammy. He confirmed and decided with his grandfather’s sprit.
The settings are in Palakkadu, Kerala landscape was my illusion. I never been in Kerala, but I heard and saw it in movies. My imagination further drew me to search whether such a place exits with surrounding settings- temple, pond, and the village by googling to add to my imagination. Coincidently, I found those spots alive here and there and my imagination decorated with those places to web in the whole story.
Moreover, for this story, I set up an opulent mansion house with a beautiful garden on a hill; a temple with the back-yard pond in a remote village to cater the readers imagination on the background of the places and events.
