A very short story of A and Ju. Reading the story reminded me of the proverb,'Love is Blind'. Loved how A and Ju fell deeply in love with each other, without even meeting once. This shows that relationships built on trust can overcome any obstacle. Overall an amazing story.
Smitha chechi... Another brilliant piece from you.. and the next ebook which I read..
Loved Juhi and Abhay... the understanding between them.. Such a lovely pair..
No too much characters but its more than enough to quench the thirst of a reader..
Thank you for this short story chechi..
You again created magic through your words.
Loved it Smita. Juhi and Mr.A lthough they have suffered in the past ....they still find their happiness, so beautifully written Smita.
Waiting for your next nook :)
We human beings are social animals. We want to be surrounded by family and friends. Our greatest fear is solitude. I think we dread isolation more than we fear anything else, even death. Death is an inevitability from the moment we are born and over the course of our lifetimes we learn to reconcile with this certainty. But the possibility that we may go silently in to the night and there wouldn't be a single soul to miss us or mourn our exit, fills our hearts with acute dread.
Abhay and Juhi are living this exact nightmare. Both have faced some adverse events in their lives, have stood strong against the iniquities of fate and have emerged winners. However loneliness has carved a niche for itself in both their hearts. They have been through a lot and need each other's love to assuage their distress. 'Taking Care of You' is their story. It has Smita's name written all over it. Both Abhay and Juhi are very real and very relatable. The way they 'take care' of each other is extremely delightful, sweet and above all, unconditional. Another winner from this author. My only complaint, it got over too soon. With Smita, you want to read on and on and on.....
Great work Smita ! Lage raho !
But I have a massive complaint and it is that such a loving story cannot be so small. I loved the idea of them losing their heart to each other without even meeting each other for an year. Philosophically, it reminds that we create our own worlds with our thoughts !
Re: Taking Care of You (eBook)
Another master piece, Simtaji! So brilliant, so beautiful, yet so poignant. The raw fear of Abhay and Juhi of being left alone was literally daunting. Surrounded by friends and families, we rarely realise how lucky we are, yet those two individuals battled their issues and stood tall, battered and bruised after all the hurdles life threw their way. This story was an awakening from complacency, steeped as it was in real issues and the greys of life-the brutal reality.
You cast magic with your pen, Simtaji. Your words are powerful and stories thought provoking. Well done sounds like the understatement of the century! This story shows how true love, built on trust can overcome any obstacles. Such a lovely couple. Thank you so much for sharing this story with us. I hope you will continue writing. But, please write a longer one next time, your stories should go on and on and on.....Wishful thinking on my part.
