About the Author

Vinod Kumar Chopra was born at Sargodha in undivided India. He obtained his post-graduate degree in Physics from Delhi University in 1964 and thereafter received a PhD in Physics at Low Temperatures at IIT Kanpur in 1970. He was awarded the Nehru Memorial Trust Scholarship to work with Dr. Kurt Mendelssohn, from 1970 to 1973, at the Clarendon Laboratory, University of Oxford, UK.
As CEO of Goodwill Cryogenics, in 1982, he founded the Cryogenic business in India for various USA Companies. He helped bring up various cryogenic systems across India. Being very passionate about Cryogenics work, he continues to work for Goodwill Cryogenics, at Vashi, Navi Mumbai
