Description

Ecological Society has conducted extensive ecological surveys of the Panshet catchment area during 1983 to 1985. With grants from Global Forest Watch, this survey was repeated in 2014 and extended to Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary.

This book provides a comparative analysis of the two studies. The Panshet restoration project of the Ecological Society is discussed and illustrated in detail.

For those wishing to undertake restoration programs in the Northern Western Ghats, this book contains templates which, when used with expert guidance, will offer a handy approach to planning and execution.
